"Sowing the future" is highlighted by CEPAL  as a successful social innovation experience
The United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean CEPAL, recognized the project executed by COMFENALCO Antioquia: “Sowing the Future in the La María Indigenous Community”, as an innovative social initiative. Find out about this project achievements that are helping improve the standard of living of the communities that benefit from this program, and which also generate conditions for development and promote citizen participation.
 

 
 
 The Generalitat Valenciana  visited two of our projects
 
 
On 8th and 9th April of this year, Comfenalco was visited by Silvia Sevilla from Generalitat Valenciana in Spain, who had arrived in Antioquia to inspect the projects that Valencia is financing in this territory. Among them are two that COMFENALCO is in charge of : "Sembrando el Futuro en la Comunidad Indígena La María" and "Viviendo el Parque: Fortalecimiento del Turismo Socialmente Responsable en Piedras Blancas".
 
 
 
 The Colombia Project  Recognizes the Antioquia  Alliance
 
Young people working for their rights. This is the proposal presented by the Antioquia Alliance (Alianza Antioquia) for preventing and attending to STDs in the young population, and was highlighted by the Global Fund for Fighting Against HIV – AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria as a success in the implementation of the Colombia Project (Proyecto Colombia).

 
 
 COMFENALCO selected to  become a part of the  JUNTOS Network
 
COMFENALCO Antioquia was the only Family Compensation Bureau in the Department selected out of 1,504 institutions that participated in the call put out by the Presidential Agency for Social Action and International Cooperation, to become a part of the registry of social operators in the Social Protection Network for Overcoming Extreme Poverty: JUNTOS.

 organized by AECID
COMFENALCO Antioquia and a number of other international NGOs carrying out development cooperation programs in Colombia, met in Bogotá, to participate in a workshop on gender perspective.
