The new OIM Mission Director for Colombia gets to know
the work carried out together with COMFENALCO Antioquia

 On June 5, COMFENALCO Antioquia received a visit from the new OIM Mission Director for Colombia, Dr. Jose Angel Oropeza. This visit had the purpose of receiving first-hand knowledge regarding the projects carried out in partnership between the OIM and COMFENALCO Antioquia.
This visit was accompanied by Dr. Antonio Jose Alzate Vargas, OIM Antioquia Regional Coordinator. They both had an opportunity to hear about the results of the Center for Youth Reference and Opportunity and the “Young People Working for their Rights”, directly from the testimonies of a group of beneficiaries who participated in the visit.
The Bureau took advantage of this visit to share its work with its guests, as well as the concrete projects COMFENALCO has carried out thanks to the resources from International Cooperation. This allowed identification of other concrete issues that could be worked on together, such as housing.
