Dear Members:
First of all, thank you for being here. The fact that you accepted the invitation to attend the Statutory Assembly during which COMFENALCO Antioquia presents the financial reports and the social balance for 2005 to its members, the monitoring and control agencies of the government and the community at large, indicate your commitment to the quality of life and the social welfare of the member employees and their families.
Your participation also shows the interest, highly desirable, in having employers constantly follow-up and assess the collection and application of the resources that they regularly contribute to the Family Compensation System. This is the only way in which you can have a fair and balanced idea of the important contribution you are making to the country by facilitating the integrated development of its productive forces, the validity of a solidary economy model, and the creation of a more equitable society.
For the Board of Directors, the Administrative Director, and the staff of the Fund is highly satisfactory to be able to submit a management report which, in addition to being positive and sound in its financial aspects, is extremely gratifying in terms of the extent of coverage and the quality of the services provided. However, this does not mean that the effort to achieve sustainable growth and greater social impact will not have to continue without respite.
