COMFENALCO Antioquia seeks
new strategic partners in Italy

 During the month of October, representatives from COMFENALCO Antioquia visited some Italian institutions in order to establish cooperation channels between both parties. The visit allowed us to get first hand knowledge of the results of the partnership established between the Medellín Mayor’s Office and the GDM Consortium (Consorcio de Gino Mattarelli) in the area of social entrepreneurship, which the Bureau is interested in and is studying the possibility of applying it in its work with young people, physically challenged people and seniors.
As the Bureau is working on a Cooperation project aimed at creating and putting into operation its School of Arts and Trades, this visit also allowed us to establish contacts with institutions that will serve as reference points for this initiative, including the Murano Glass School, the Perseo jewelry school, the Fine Arts school in Venice, Rome and Brera, the Gastronomy school in Milan and the Turin Polytechnic.
