Thanks to the work carried out by
COMFENALCO Antioquia with national and international organizations during 2007,
the Bureau contributed significantly to improving the standard of living of
426.586 children, young people and adults in Antioquia from the municipalities
of Medellín, Apartadó, Turbo, Necoclí and Guarne, setting up social impact
programs and projects in the areas of Tourism, Co-Development, Nutritional
Safety and Infants.
A total of 8.009.993.260 were raised,
of which 49.8% were contributed by international organizations like Internacional
Youth Foundation, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation through CIDEAL,
the Government of Navarra and the Navarra Bureau Foundation through Compartir
Navarra and the Generalitat Valenciana through the DNGO Petjades. 50.2% came from our partners including the
EXITO Foundation, the Fraternidad Medellín Foundation, COREDI, the Government
of Antioquia through its MANA program and the Mayor’s Office of Medellín.
