COMFENALCO Antioquia, through National and International Cooperation, raised $5.806 million for carrying out projects in the Department’s sub-regions, thus benefitting 16.942 people directly, and another 8.243 indirectly.
During 2006 the Bureau drafted and carried out technical and financial National and International Cooperation projects in health, recreation, gender, environment, education, enterprise, equality, children, youth, nutritional safety, social responsibility, networks and self-employment.
Through this program men and women, indigenous and African-Colombian communities, and boys, girls and teens from the different towns were benefitted, achieving a greater sense of solidarity and responsibility regarding the poorest and most needy populations of our region.
The following is a summary of the main activities of cooperation carried out by the Bureau in 2006.
