Comfenalco participated in the “Gender in Planning Actions
for Development and Peace” workshop offered by AECID

 Thanks to an invitation extended by the Generalitat Valenciana in Colombia, the Bureau, through Sandra Acevedo of the National and International Cooperation Unit, participated between April 1 and 4 in the “Gender in Planning Actions for Development and Peace” workshop held in the City of Bogota (Colombia). This workshop was organized by the Technical Cooperation Office of the Spanish Cooperation Agency for development in Colombia – AECID- within the framework of the Gender Equality Strategy belonging to Spanish Cooperation in Colombia, and its main goal was advising NGOs on including the Gender perspective when putting forward projects.
Representatives from Action Agains Hunger, Intermon-Oxfam, Peace with Dignity, Caritas Españolas, Mundubat also attended this workshop, along with other international NGOs that carry out cooperation projects for development in Colombia.
