More Resources, Better Services

Due to the serious development and social justice crisis that the country experiences, as well as the increasing demand of care for the extremely poor population, COMFENALCO Antioquia committed itself, through the National and International Cooperation Department, to manage resources to co-finance its diverse social projects, to extend the coverage of its service to the most vulnerable population of other regions of the Department of Antioquia, to improve rendering said services, and to implement new programs.

General Objective
To manage, channel and follow-up the national and international technical and financial cooperation agreements, destined to have a higher impact on the development and re-establishment of the region's social justice.
Specific Objectives

To formulate, present and negotiate technical and financial cooperation projects that allow to boost the supply and to extend the service coverage currently offered by Comfenalco Antioquia.

To implement new services which, through the national and international technical and financial cooperation resources, allow Comfenalco Antioquia to develop innovative programs to serve the most vulnerable groups of the population.

To establish alliances with public and private entities to have joint access to the offers and bids of national and international cooperation disclosed by multilateral bodies, governments, NGO's, private foundations and de-centralized cooperation.

To systemize Comfenalco's internal processes to formulate, present and execute national and international cooperation projects.

To contribute to the formation of Comfenalco's technical team as far as management, administration, assessment and systematization of cooperation projects.

To carry out actions to promote, nationally and internationally, Comfenalco's services and programs. Likewise, to provide technical and professional advice in the areas of our competence in the countries of the region (south-south cooperation).

Transparency
Transparency and ethics shall rule all of our actions and negotiations with other national and international entities, guided by the parameters defined in Comfenalco Antioquia's Good Governance Code.

Active & Two-Way Participation
Our aim is to become strategic partners, with an active and deliberating participation, to implement high social impact projects in our country. We do not intend just to receive technical and financial cooperation, but instead, to establish a mutually beneficial relationship with stakeholders, co-financers and beneficiaries of the social projects.
Inter-Institutional FosteringComfenalco intends to establish a long-term relationship with its local and international partners, sharing with them its institutional strengths, such as: Over four decades of work in the Colombian social security sector; Acknowledgement in the public and private scenarios, and in the social, corporate and solidarity sectors; Financial soundness and stability throughout the institution's operations; and ISO 2000 quality certification of all of its services and programs.

As far as national and international cooperation, we will develop and search to strengthen the institutions we interact with.

Working in Networks
Comfenalco recognizes that working in networks is fundamental to achieve a higher impact on the improvement of the local development indexes, and to avoid the dispersion of resources, repetitious actions and the lack of knowledge of future allies to re-establish social justice in Colombia.

Continuous Improvement
Comfenalco will constantly search to improve all of its processes and to consolidate its organizational competencies to ensure meeting its corporate objectives, in general, and its national and international cooperation goals, specifically.
